Reverse Osmosis Installation & Maintenance · Los Angeles & SoCal
Bottled-water taste from your own kitchen tap.
Under-sink and whole-home RO installed, serviced and filter changes on schedule.
Reverse osmosis pushes water through a membrane fine enough to leave most dissolved solids behind — the chlorine taste, the scale minerals, and dissolved metals like lead — so the water you drink and cook with is the cleanest in the house. It's the one step a whole-home softener can't do for you.
An RO system only performs as long as its filters and membrane are changed on schedule and its drain line and pressure are right. We size the unit to your household and tap demand, plumb it with its own drain and shut-off, and keep it running: filter changes, membrane care, tank sanitizing and leak checks — booked for you instead of remembered by you.

Reverse Osmosis Installation & Maintenance: common questions
Do I need reverse osmosis if I already have a softener?
They solve different problems. A softener reduces hardness minerals throughout the home, while reverse osmosis uses a membrane and other filter stages to reduce selected dissolved substances in drinking water. Many households combine whole-home softening with an under-sink RO system for drinking and cooking. Whether you need RO depends on your water concerns and the system's certified reduction claims, not taste alone. We assess available space, pressure, drainage and usage; a softener by itself should not be treated as a drinking-water purification system.
How often do RO filters need changing?
The correct schedule comes from your specific model's instructions, water quality and usage. Many sediment and carbon pre-filters need replacement roughly every six to twelve months, while membrane life varies and can be longer; final filters and remineralization cartridges have their own intervals. Lower flow, unusual taste or a service indicator can mean attention is needed sooner, but taste alone does not verify water quality. We review the model, inspect for leaks and pressure issues, and set a maintenance schedule that includes sanitizing where the manufacturer requires it.

via Google“I needed a service for a Rinnai tankless water heater for a tenant in Eagle Rock. I called Leon plumbing and was surprised that they could have a tech out in about an hour. The tech did a complete service for $275, which seemed somewhat reasonable, and a needed valve replacement for another $275, which (though steep) was at least done quickly. I would recommend them for speed, good communications, and quality of the work.”
