Foothills / Sunland–Tujunga
Plumbing repairs & tankless expertise in Tujunga
Tujunga's foothill streets include distinct pockets of postwar Ranch-style housing. Los Angeles' historic survey identifies Amanita Avenue's 1959 one- and two-story homes on gently sloping terrain. That setting makes access and elevation part of a plumbing visit: a heater in a utility space, a supply line under a raised floor and a drain crossing a sloping lot need different inspection approaches.
Access matters as much as the age of the pipes
For a Tujunga home with a raised floor, we look for accessible shutoffs and visible moisture before opening finished surfaces. For slab construction, a suspected hidden leak needs diagnostic work first. Changes in elevation do not automatically mean excessive pressure; pressure should be measured at the property. If a drain keeps stopping, a camera inspection can clarify the location and condition of the affected section before excavation is discussed.
Updating hot water without overlooking the house
A Ranch-style home may have a compact heater location and a long run to the far bathroom. We distinguish delivery delay from an undersized or failing heater, then discuss repair, replacement or a suitable recirculation arrangement. Tankless installation also requires gas-capacity checks, correct venting and room for future service. Annual care can include descaling and inlet-filter inspection when called for by the manufacturer's guidance and site conditions.

via Google“I needed a service for a Rinnai tankless water heater for a tenant in Eagle Rock. I called Leon plumbing and was surprised that they could have a tech out in about an hour. The tech did a complete service for $275, which seemed somewhat reasonable, and a needed valve replacement for another $275, which (though steep) was at least done quickly. I would recommend them for speed, good communications, and quality of the work.”
